What’s in my makeup bag that I can’t live without!

03 Oct What’s in my makeup bag that I can’t live without!

We invest so much money on our makeup routine but how much do we actually use? I decided to separate all the products I use daily and was so shocked that I still had 3 full makeup bags left over! Now there is certain makeup I use now and then but the products I use daily is a small amount compared to the rest. Ok I do tend to buy products and not really use them as I have seen on someone usually a makeup artist and I am no makeup artist so the chances of me recreating the look is very slim!

I have 11 products that without a doubt I use daily, which looking at them seems a lot for the school run but these are a must have, go to products and I am comfortable with these products, because let’s face it, when you get a new product you do need to play around with it to see how it feels etc.

Foundation- M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid. This is without a doubt the best foundation I have ever used. The coverage is great, it is long wearing and you never need to touch up ( something I love ) It is soft and light that you don’t feel like you’re wearing foundation. I literally just love it.

Concealer – Rimmel Wake Me Up . As a concealer I love this one. Affordable, easy application and gives a good highlight to the skin.

Sleek – Contour and Blush palette is my favourite. I adore this product as  I can’t contour so the dark powder is easy to apply and the blush for the cheeks and let’s not forget the highlighter! It is fab and gives a lovely natural dewy glow to the skin.

Sleek – Brow Kit . This is a cream brow kit and gives great definition on the brows and with the cream it makes it easier to give hair like strokes on the brow to give a natural fuller brow.

The linear – Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner is unreal. So I received this in my brichbox and my god I never really wore liquid eyeliner before but I would never wear anything else now. The brush applicator on Eyeko is amazing.  When I use liquid eyeliner before I found it was really messy as the applicator was not compact enough and in a way for words loose, where Eyeko applicator is so defined and strong and you have such control over it. ( still can’t do a wing though!)

Eyes- The most budget friendly product from Primak. The P.S. Master Palette. The colours in this palette are very me, soft tones with a pop of colour and a bit of sparkle. Now I have this palette since Christmas and only started using it since the mid summer. For a budget friendly product the pigmentation in the shadows is unreal.

I use the Powder N Pout P325 brush to apply my shadow and then I blend out with a fluffy brush or my finger. ( I can hear MUA gasp at that)

For the lashes – Benefit They’re Real is without a doubt the best on the market. The applicator doesn’t leave a clumpy feel ( is that even a word?) and really defines the lashes.

Lips – I use The Lip Quad and M.A.C Lipstick. The Lip Quad is such a clever idea. Check out my previous post on this is a game changer for Lip liner. Then I adore M.A.C lipstick I have a vast amount of colours but Pink and nudes and reds are my go to favourite!

Last but not least is M.A.C. Prep and Prime. So this is just to give my face a bit of spritz and keep my face hydrated because you need to hydrate your skin.

So what’s in your makeup bag? Do you also have products you never use? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Friday
