Saturday style guide

24 Aug Saturday style guide

Is anyone else obsessed with dresses, Like I definitely think that the summer heat wave has something to do it with and the fact that dresses have dominated the high street all summer and that this domination will continue right through the winter.

My favourite style of dress since the summer is the pinafore, which is everywhere and in so many varieties across the high street, it is kind of funny as the pinafore reminds me of being a child! But thankfully any age can pull it off this season. Now if you have invested in a pinafore then don’t worry this dress will see you through the winter, layer it up with chunky knits and ankle boots to give your pinafore that autumn feel, which means you have more money to spend on some more dresses!

This week I am sharing some of my favourite from New Look. With a mix of leopard print, zebra, check, tartan and not to forget the bright colours New Look have a great range in store.

The key to making your dresses last during the winter season is layering. Add a polo neck under your dress or a chunky knit over to give the illusion of a skirt not a dress. If your legs can’t bare the cold add thick black opaque tights and ankle boots, still a must for every season the ankle boot I much prefer compare knee-high this must because I am only 5ft and let’s face it the ankle boot makes my leg longer( well so I think). Below are some of my favourites, click to bring you direct to store!

Happy Shopping
